something new
There is a lot I don’t know about music, I think it’s sort of like how the Renaissance man died out, there’s too much for anyone to know all of it. But since I’m still unemployed for a while I decided to start looking. I’m basically feeling around blind in the dark because most of what I listen to now only links to so much from the past and there’s only so much older music that’s considered prolific enough for anyone to need to know about. So trying to discover new old genres isn’t very easy and I’m taking a bizarre approach and rummaging through lp’s on ebay.

From what I’ve gathered this is 1977 but I can’t see for sure. I can’t really get over how poorly this guy fits into his own video. I’ve been listening mostly to danceable music for a while. I have this theory that throughout history when there’s been drastic changes in the nation’s economy there’s an upsurge of new dance music (this goes for the UK too, beyond that I’m just now looking into US 70s so it will be a while before I can tell you about the music during the fall of the Soviet Union or anything).
